Bio

Silvia Talavera Lodos is a Ph.D. student in European Law (PhD programme in Human Rights and Global Politics) at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. Her research interests focuses on the social rights framework, migrants rights and local governance.

She holds a Double Degree in Law and Business Economics from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a Master's degree in Law and a Master's degree in Human Rights, Democracy and Globalisation from the Open University of Catalunya.

Before starting her Ph.D., Silvia has worked as Research Assistant for Amnesty International and as Assistant Public Officer for the Delegation of the Government of the Canary Islands in Brussels..
