The three colleges of the Sant'Anna School

College of the School Headquarters
The School's Headquarters College stands in the premises of the former St. Anne's Convent, a Benedictine women's monastery of 14th-century origin. It is the 'heart' of the school, surrounded by greenery and with an exclusive view of the nineteenth-century Piazza Martiri della Libertà (better known to Pisans as Piazza Santa Caterina), dominated by the famous statue dedicated to Pietro Leopoldo. It has single and double rooms, with a total of 94 beds (48 single rooms and 23 double rooms).

"Tiziano Terzani" College
The Tiziano Terzani College is located a short walk from the School's Headquarters, and was completely renovated in the spring of 2012. The college is named after Italian writer and journalist Tiziano Terzani, an alumnus of Scuola Sant'Anna. It has single and double rooms, recreation rooms and breakfast room. There are 79 total beds (33 single rooms and 23 double rooms).

"A. Faedo" College (shared with the Scuola Normale Superiore)
The Faedo College accommodates students from Scuola Sant'Anna and Scuola Normale. The building complex, created by the redevelopment plan of a former industrial area in the center of Pisa, is dedicated to the famous mathematician and politician Alessandro Faedo, former Rector of the University of Pisa. It has 83 single rooms reserved for Scuola Sant'Anna students (all with private bathrooms), recreation rooms, dining corners and breakfast room.

Housekeeping and laundry

The School provides all linen for the rooms: sheets, pillowcases, blankets, bedspreads, bath towels and bathrobes. A daily room cleaning service is provided. The housekeeping staff will arrange for the pickup of soiled linens and the delivery of clean linens once a week. There is no daily tidying up of your bed by the School staff, except on the day the clean linen is delivered.
The School also offers a laundry service that on designated days provides pickup of soiled clothing and the subsequent return of washed, ironed and enclosed clothing in special numbered packages.
Access the intranet to book the service.
The colleges are also equipped with self-service laundry and ironing areas with washer-dryer machines, irons and special holders for hanging out laundry.
Remember, however, that personal laundry may not be hung out of college windows!
