The Sant'Anna School is one of the university institutions featured at Ecomondo, Italy's most important fair on ecological transition underway in Rimini until Friday, Nov. 10. Three events were attended by faculty and researchers. 

On Wednesday, November 8, Ecomondo hosted the final conference of the LIFE CO2PES&PEF project, on sustainable forest management to increase CO2 storage in forests and make the Italian wood supply chain more collaborative and sustainable. Marco Frey, coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Research Center on Sustainability and Climate, spoke, discussing, in particular, issues such as the relationship between business management and biodiversity conservation, focus on impacts and interdependence. Sara Tessitore, a researcher from the Institute of Management, also spoke, who presented the objectives, actions and results of the LIFE CO2PES&PEF project. A panel discussion was also held during the final conference during which representatives from ministries, regions, businesses, civil society discussed the contribution of this European project in arriving at more sustainable and less impactful forest management.

Marco Frey and Fabio Iraldo are also the organizers of two events scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 9, on circularity and carbon footprint measurement and on business and supply chain decarbonization strategies.
